This is a fairy-tale interpretation of diary entries inspired by the lives of refugees fleeing war and repression. When the familiar world collapses, leaving only betrayal and disillusionment, there is a chance to rebuild your own world — by appointing each other as king and queen of your life.
Just like in childhood: crafting a crown from chocolate foil, throwing a blanket over your shoulders, and turning a game into a new reality. You become a fairy-tale king and queen, helping each other find stability and comfort against the backdrop of a vast, cold, and unwelcoming world. And you succeed.
